Borrelli's Pizza & Italian Food

The following was sent by Ralph Borrelli, owner of Borrelli's, on 6/19/08. Unfortunately, at this time the PDF of the menu he mentions cannot be shown. The menu at the restaurant does have the gluten-free menu items on it.
"There is a gluten-free spaghetti and a penne and you choose from a couple of different sauces: our homemade tomato, or meat sauce, or just butter are all gluten-free. We now have a gluten-free pizza shell that we make here fresh in-house and you can choose from a whole variety of toppings. Feel free to E-mail me with any questions." "...I send you a note regarding my neighbor's restaurant in Encinitas, Borelli's Pizza and Italian Food . . . Ralph (Borelli) has begun to offer Gluten Free dishes on his regular menu. The items include: mini-pizza and pasta.
As a celiac, I have assisted him regarding safe and unsafe practices, and have personally sampled his pizza and pasta. Both are excellent, particularly the pizza, and neither has given me any trouble."

"We had our July CSA dining out gathering at Borrelli's (about 30 people attended), which everyone enjoyed. Here's additional information that may be helpful:
- The GF pizza crust comes only in the 8" size for $7.95 (plus toppings).
- The gluten-free pasta comes in spahetti or penne style, and there is an $1.95 additional fee for it.
- All of the salads come family-style sized except for the Mixed Green Salad.
I had a pizza and loved it, as well as the Special House Salad, which was huge." Roxie, 7/08
