Recommendations and Suggestions
for This Website

We want to hear from you! The strength and value of this website will come from the input of those living gluten free in San Diego. The following are ideas for information that would be helpful to share with others living in or visiting San Diego.

  • Recommendations for the San Diego area, including but not restricted to:
    Doctors, dentists, dieticians
    Restaurants, bakeries, food stores
    Caterers, bakers
  • “News” items – both local and worldwide
  • Suggestions for how to improve this website
  • Corrections to this website
  • Recommendations for the Resources section, including books and websites that you have found to be particularly helpful.

Please include with your correspondence:
  • Specifics, such as:
    • Menu items that worked
    • Why you like a particular dentist, doctor, restaurant, etc.
    • The date it occurred, if relevant

Fellow readers would like to know why you are recommending a person or place, and how recent it was.

  • Identification that can be put on the website with your recommendations. We would like to include your city and name (or initials if you prefer). For example, at the end of a restaurant recommendation would be “Roxie Johnson, La Jolla”.

Please send your recommendations and suggestions for this website to: info@glutenfreeinsd.com
Questions

Please send any questions you may have to info@glutenfreeinsd.com. We will be happy to try to help you find answers to your questions. You also have the following options:

  • Contact one or more of the organizations listed in the “Organizations” section of Resources. Very knowledgeable people usually answer the phones and can be very helpful.
  • Come to one of the San Diego support group meetings (see SD Support Groups).
  • Email one of the "New Member Contacts" on the San Diego CSA/USA support group page, or Danna Korn from the San Diego R.O.C.K. group (Danna@celiackids.com). These persons are all well-informed and reliable sources.
  • Use one of the sites listed in the “Interactive Websites” section of Resources to pose questions. This enables you to receive answers from all over the country. However, be aware that much of the information on these sites is based on personal opinions rather than qualified, accurate and up-to-date information sources.
