San Diego CSA Meeting

Location: Usual meeting room at Rady Children's Hospital
Guest Speaker: Dr. Stephen Wangen, head of the IBS Treatment Center in Seattle,
Washington.
Approximately 75 people were in attendance as Dr. Wangen spoke about his
personal experience living with celiac disease and his professional practice
surrounding treatment of IBS, gluten sensitivity, gluten intolerance, and celiac
disease. Post-meeting he held a book signing for his newest publication Healthier Without Wheat.
Several local vendors provided tasty gluten-free
treats including Deanna Smith from GNI Bakery in Escondido, Chef Besty from chefbetsyg.com, and Mama Houli and Sister T. Thank you so much for the
generosity of your time, talents, and free samples.
