The main topic of the meeting was the San Diego Gluten-Free Food Expo that occurred in November. Germaine Schwider, Co-Chair of the event, gave a slide presentation with facts and figures from the Expo. Two of the essay contest winners sponsored by the Expo spoke, and a presentation of the check for the Warren Celiac Center was presented to Dr. Martin Kagnoff. Dr. Kagnoff also spoke about what the Warren Celiac Center is involved in.

Bill Foreman was honored for his many years of service to the San Diego CSA support group. He is now retiring from his long-time position as treasurer. Helen and Bill Foreman were founders of the original group in the eary 1990's (see "A Small Beginning"), and have continued to be at the heart of the group ever since. Thank you from all of us who have profited from your dedication and hard work through the years!
