Cupcakes Squared advertises that they bake daily, and use all natural ingredients: "NO food coloring, NO preservatives, NO chemicals . . . just fresh ingredients.
On the menu page of their website they state "A Baker's Choice of Gluten Free cupcakes are available everyday. Most cupcake flavors can be ordered Gluten Free. To avoid cross contamination, we bake our Gluten Free batches separately from the other cupcakes."
They have added "Squares" to their menu, which they describe as brownie-like treats. They are also available gluten-free. They are "shippable".
They will take special orders, but request 48 hours notice and request a 1 dozen minimum-full sized cupcakes and a 2 dozen minimum order on min-cupcakes.
"My mom took my daughter to Cupcakes Squared on Point Loma yesterday. They have a GF cupcake every Friday and they'll do special orders. Helen reports that it was extra yummy and that no one could tell the difference between it and a "floury" cupcake. I just tested it and it was super moist and dense." Catherine 8/05
