"Long Island Mike's is THE pizzeria where you can enjoy not only world class pizzas but also a laid back atmosphere full of Island charm." They serve New York-style pizza. They list all the GF toppings that can go on their "Gluten Free Pies". The gluten-free cheese pie is actually listed as cheaper than the regular cheese pie!
Long Island Mike's generously brought an abundant amount of GF pizza to the March 2011 San Diego CSA meeting, which was thoroughly enjoyed by all.

"Celiacs Laugh Dining Out" event was held at Long Island Mike's Pizza on 4/19/11. Approximately twenty children and adults joined this evening for a most delicious dining experience at Long Island Mike's Pizza! Owner/Chef, Mike, graciously met us at the door, showed us to our tables, and reviewed the GF menu. Some of the comments floating around the table included, "Amazing crust!" .... "Such generous portions." ..."Delcious!"..."So accessible and affordable." "Very clean and friendly establishment." "Ample seating to accommodate children/families and adults." Salad selections were equally delicious, fresh and colorful. For those dining off the regular menu, the dinner special was $6.00 for two pieces of pie (any variety) and drink. Long Island Mikes does not advertise their gluten-free pizza at this time, so help get the word out!"
