The following statements are from manufacturer's about the gluten-free status of their products. Please use this information only as a starting place. You must still read the ingredient labels every time you purchase a product to confirm they are gluten free. If you have questions, call or email the manufacturer directly.

Argo Corn Starch 1/08 www.argostarch.com/index.htm states on it's home page "Gluten Free". In the FAQ section, in response to the question "Is corn starch gluten-free?" the company responds "Yes. Gluten is a protein found in wheat and other cereals. Gluten is not present in corn starch, which makes it an excelletnt substitute for flour in many recipes." Reportedly on the Argo Corn Starch box it states that it is GF.

Clif and Luna Bars 5/08 "While our products do not contain dairy or eggs, all Clif and Luna Bar flavors contain gluten. The only bar of ours that comes close to gluten-free is our Nectar Bar. Nectar does not contain any gluten ingredients. However, it is not produced in a gluten-free zone. My concern therefore would be the potential of cross-contamination.

Dominos Sugars7/07"Let me first say that none of our sugars contain gluten. Our Powdered Sugar contains 3% corn starch as an anti-caking agent, and this product may contain a very minuscule amount (less than 0.01%) of corn gluten, which is not harmful to gluten-sensitive enteropathy patients. Starch from sources other than corn, such as wheat, rye, barley, oats, spelt, or triticale, is never used. Except for corn starch, no ingredients other than cane sugar are used in any of our consumer products. They contain no additives or preservatives.

Kellogg's® Eggo™ Syrup, Kellogg's™ Fruit Flavored Snacks and Kellogg's® Yogos are formulated gluten- free and may be acceptable for consumers on restricted diets.

Kellogg's® Corn Pops® and Kellogg's® Rice Krispies® might be suitable, depending on gluten sensitivity. Corn Pops have a very small amount of wheat starch added, and Rice Krispies have a small amount of malt flavoring, made from barley. "Z Trim and all of our finished products such as salad dressings and mayo spread are only made with corn. Our labels read corn bran fiber in the ingredient list. There are some foreign countries that want non-gmo products only and for them we have non-gmo Oat Z Trim and it is labeled as such.
