The Poway Sushi Lounge officially launched it's gluten free menu on March 1, 2011. It is available in-house upon request and online (Click on "Gluten Free" on the home page). They have included some happy hour items as well "in an attempt to include everyone, all the time."

11/10 "I own a sushi bar in Poway and have noticed a major increase in Gluten Free item requests. My partner and I have worked hard to train our staff on items that can be simply modified to offer more choices and we have begun carrying gluten free soy sauce. We have also developed gluten free sauces (we make all of our own sauces but most are soy sauce based) using this gluten free soy sauce which are kept in labeled bottles away from the other sauces. We have comprised a menu of roughly 40 items that is fully gluten free that will be on a separate menu all together for people to enjoy. . . we have done everything possible to avoid contamination."
