StellaLucy exclusively sells gluten-free products. It is owned by Josie Rietkerk, whose whole family cannot eat gluten. The store moved in August 2010, greatly enlarging their selection to over 2000 products, with plans to add 1000 more products. It is located fairly close to Highway 5, making it convenient to shop there on trips to and from Los Angeles, Orange County, Irvine, etc. Items can also be ordered online from their website.

"Yesterday Carol and I went and visited Stella Lucy Gluten-Free Market.
If you are going north to San Clemente the turn off is about 26 miles north of Carlsbad Village Drive.
It is located in the center of town west of the freeway.
If you get off at El Camino Real go northwest about a mile toward the ocean.
They are on the ocean side of El Camino Real at 108 South Camino Real.
Parking is a problem on the street in front of the store.
We had no trouble parking in the lot behind the store and they have an entrance from the lot.
The store is about 20 feet wide and 60 feet deep.
They had good supplies of a great variety of packaged foods from almost every vendor I have heard of. They also have a large refrigerated case for both frozen and cold items. There are no bargains. They started up 6 months ago and were very helpful in finding items.
At 4:00PM on Monday they were quite busy. But they have a wide variety of products including a section on GF skin products. They had just run out of Sharrs crackers. We bought some products that we had never seen before. They had lots of packaged breads as well as a large variety of mixes. Also ready to cook frozen meals, pizzas, even pumpkin pies.
