May 4
TAG (Teens Agains Gluten) had a fun gathering on May 4, The original plans to go the Oceanside Pier Beach had to be changed due to a large Cinco de Mayo Celebration at the same location. The teens end up meeting at a near by bowling alley which turned out to be quite a fun activity. The teens enjoyed quite a spread of delicous snacks and some tasty appertizers. TastesLikeRealFood.com <http://tasteslikerealfood.com/> sent a varitey of baking mixes for the teens to try. In addition Arico Natural Foods Company (www.aricofoods.com <http://www.aricofoods.com> ) also sent a variety of samples of cookies and chips. We thank them for these samples!! It really add to the fun of the gathering.
March 2
Dave & Buster's & Pei Wei
This gathering was on Sunday, March 2 at Dave & Busters located at 2931 Camino Del Rio N, San Diego. We had 8 teens attending. Afterwards we went to Pei Wei where the adults ate by themselves while the teens had their own table. The gluten free meals were very tasty.
We also want to thank Marka Haack who provided free samples of Toovaloo gluten free pizza shell; a very tasty product. THANK YOU Toovaloo www.toovalooglutenfree.com <http://www.toovalooglutenfre.com/>

We want to thank CSA/San Diego Chapter for donating gf goodies. Kimberly Duvall from CSA contacted us about these gluten free products and arranged for us to meet Sandi Miline who offered the many gf products. Sandi put in a lot of time to obtain gluten free products from many different companies. This was very generous and we thank you for it! The teens and their families along with some other gf families were able to enjoy the samples. THANK YOU CSA!
Finally we thank Mountain Mikes manager Samuel Golding for reserving us a spot. The pizza was delicious! This was a great place to have our first gathering for the teens. We hope this gf product can be offered again in the near future. Thank you.
