The Tin Leaf is a casual dining environment, where you order your food at the counter and it is delivered to your table. They have a gluten-free menu which can be found on their website under "Menu". They will make sandwiches on gluten-free bread for a charge of fifty cents. They have many salads available, and state "Any of our Entree Plates are gluten free with the exception of Meatloaf." There are also many side dishes listed as gluten-free.
"Tin Leaf Fresh Kitchen opened in La Costa in Fall 2010. I've probably eaten their 10 times since then, as
the owners are friends of mine, and I like to support their endeavor.
Food is high quality and mostly locally sourced. Their salads are
among the best I've had. (You can craft your own..choosing greens,
veggies, salmon, chicken or beef.) They recently made a GF menu
available upon request. Currently, it features mostly salads and sides
although the owner is considering offering GF bread soon. However,
they have now started using a dedicated fryer for their amazing french
